Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how TavernMark ("we," "us"), operator of tavernmark.com, collects, uses and protects personal information. We keep this policy in plain language because we collect very little — we're a manufacturing business, not a data company.
1. Information We Collect
- Information you give us: your name, business name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, shipping address, artwork files and order specifications — collected only when you contact us for a quote, place an order, or correspond with us.
- Payment information: payments are processed by PayPal. We receive your name and payment confirmation, but never your full card number or PayPal credentials.
- Technical information: standard server logs and, if enabled, privacy-respecting analytics (pages visited, approximate region, device type). We do not run advertising trackers.
2. How We Use Information
- To prepare quotations, produce and ship your order, and provide after-sales support;
- To communicate about your order (production updates, photo confirmations, shipping notices);
- To send occasional follow-ups about your inquiry — you can reply STOP or email us to opt out at any time;
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
3. Cookies
tavernmark.com is a static marketing website. We use only strictly functional cookies and, optionally, first-party analytics. No third-party advertising cookies are set by us. You can block cookies in your browser without breaking the site.
4. Sharing & International Transfer
We share information only with parties essential to fulfilling your order: PayPal (payments), and carriers/freight forwarders (shipping labels and documents). As we operate internationally, your information may be processed in China, the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. We apply this policy wherever your data is handled.
5. Data Retention
Order and transaction records are kept for the period required by tax and commercial law (typically up to 7 years). Quote inquiries that don't become orders are deleted after 24 months of no contact, unless you ask us to keep the designs on file.
6. Your Rights
- Everyone: you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us.
- California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" — which we do not engage in — without discrimination in price or service. California's "Shine the Light" law: we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing.
- EU/UK visitors (GDPR): our lawful basis is contract performance and legitimate interest (responding to business inquiries). You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
7. Children
Our site and services are directed to business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
8. Security
See our Security page for how we protect your information. In short: encrypted connections everywhere, no stored card data, no user accounts to breach.
9. Changes & Contact
If we change this policy materially, we will update the date above. For any privacy request:
